One man in our small community owns the gas distribution, and all of the stations have about the same price. If he even smells a price hike from his sources, he goes up quickly here, and the grocery stores follow suit to cover the expenses they will have to face. It's funny to me that when the gas prices go back down, the grocery prices do not.
