Views of the new school year....


My daughter - "I love high school. It's freakin' awesome mom." (she left me a voicemail at work)

My son - "It's okay, until you have to do work and when the teacher fusses."

Me: "I thought we wouldn't need as many supplies for a 9th grader - boy was I wrong - so far every class - Expo markers, Kleenex and hand sanitizer. Not to mention $20 fees for locker and agenda, $10 lab fees, $20 for something else. UGGHHHHHHH"
(I am waiting for fundraiser stuff now. Yuck)
